Classic Maple End Grain Cutting Board

When you think of a butcher block or a classic cutting board--this is it.  Hard Maple end grain, use behind the counter of virtually every meat market and butcher shop both here and abroad.  You simply cannot do better.

This board is reversible and is supplied with a non-skid positioning mat and a stainless steel bench scraper.  Support feet may be added at an additional charge.  Adding support feet will make this board non-reversible.  A 2-ounce bottle of Howard Butcher Block Conditioner is also included.  12-ounce bottles are available here on our site.  We recommend that you purchase one.

Wood is a natural product and no two pieces are exactly the same.  Grain, coloring and even the dimensions will vary slightly from board to board and from the example depicted on this page.  Also, most woods will darken or change color slightly over time, particularly with exposure to sunlight.  This is. a natural evolution and you will find that the character of the wood deepens and grows richer.
