The Boudin Baguette Serving Board
Boudin is an historic San Francisco sourdough bread bakery. Founded in 1849, it is not only the oldest continuously operating bakery in San Francisco but in fact the oldest business in the city. If you've been to Fisherman's Wharf, you've doubtless been to their flagship bakery.
The perfect board for serving and slicing those long loaves of crusty French or sourdough bread. It also works well for serving cheese, charcuterie and other hors d'oeuvres. And, it's reversible. Just flip it over and you have a serving board with a ramekin holder--6 oz ramekin included. Available in both square and angled version designs.
A 2-ounce sample bottle of Howard Butcher Block Conditioner is included. 12oz bottles are available here on our site.
Wood is a natural product and no two pieces are exactly the same. Grain, coloring and even the dimensions will vary slightly from board to board and from the examples depicted on this page. Also, most woods will darken or change color slightly, particularly with exposure to sunlight. You will find that the character of the wood will deepen and grow more luxurious over time.
